Additional Compensation from Product Sponsors
Lincoln Investment Planning, Inc. (Lincoln) receives standard commissions and servicing fees (referred to as 12b-1 fees) from product sponsors based on sales, as described in the prospectuses of the applicable products.  In addition, Lincoln receives from certain product sponsors additional compensation based on sales or total dollar amount of investors’ assets in the form of networking fees, marketing support and sponsorship, administrative fees and expense reimbursements (“Additional Compensation”).   These payments are paid to Lincoln out of the revenues of the sponsoring investment company or insurance company and are NOT paid out of fund assets.  Lincoln utilizes this Additional Compensation to assist in the training, education, marketing, recordkeeping, and needs of our Financial Representatives and investors.

The product sponsors who provide this Additional Compensation are considered Lincoln’s “Strategic Partners”.   Our Strategic Partners have been chosen for their ability to provide consistent long-term performance and a history of offering products that meet the financial needs of our investors.  This Additional Compensation is not shared with our Financial Representatives; therefore, there is no incentive for our Financial Representatives to offer the products of a Strategic Partner over another product sponsor.

You may read more about Additional Compensation from Lincoln Investment’s Strategic Partners by going to our website at www.lincolninvestment.com and click on the tab titled “Additional Compensation.”
